Archery season for deer just opened Wednesday here in Area 2 of Northwest Louisiana but for most of us working folks, today's our first real chance to get in the woods and hopefully see the buck of our dreams.

Hopefully, today all that target practicing will pay off with old big daddy finding a new resting place over the fireplace at the house.
