Learn How to Forage at the Incredible Edible Hike at Caddo Lake

There is a really cool thing going on at Caddo Lake State Park where you can learn how to forage. The event is called the Incredible Edible Hike. It will take place on Saturday, May 13th. With three different times to attend- 10 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.

You will meet up at the Trailhead by the boat ramp. The event is free, but to enter the park it will cost $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free, according to the event page on Facebook.

The event page also mentions that this is a great way to get your kiddos out of the house and moving with a half mile hike. This would be a great learning experience for them just as much as it is for adults. You can find more details here.
