Fire Damages Several Units of Cornerstone Apartments

Fire in a wall between four apartments displaced residents of ten units of the Cornerstone Apartments at 109 Southfield Sunday evening.

Twenty-seven firefighters and eleven fire apparatus responded. It took several minutes to get to the source of the fire to put it out. Shreveport Fire Prevention was called to investigate the cause.

Everyone inside the apartments escaped safely.
