In Eric's nomination letter, Nicole Avisebrownell, wrote of Eric's willingness to serve on more than one occasion.

Nicole's letter highlighted Eric's heart and commitment to others, and that's exactly why he was the perfect choice as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Recently, my boyfriend became a double amputee and when I put the word out there, I would need a wheelchair ramp to bring him home. He was one of the first to step forward an offer to help and even showed up to actually put one in and then more recent we recently had lost most of our stuff in a house fire and when Eric heard that, he stepped into action, took up a collection and helped us get into another house which made this whole ordeal much better than if we actually had to go looking for a place. I can’t say enough good about Eric and I feel he deserves a lot of good to come his way
