Cleveland Browns’ Greedy Williams to Headline Mudbugs Mardi Gras Weekend

The good times will be rolling through George's Pond this weekend, and Shreveport's own Greedy Williams will be the Grand Marshal.

There's something so magical about Mardi Gras season in the Ark-La-Tex. It seems like every single weekend for nearly two months, there's something incredible going on in town that's Mardi Gras-related.

This weekend is no exception with the Shreveport Mudbugs making their return to Shreveport for two home games, their first home games in several weeks. This weekend, the team is inviting fans to come out and enjoy a Mardi Gras experience like no other.

Both Friday and Saturday night will of course see action-packed hockey action with the 'Bugs taking on the Springfield Jr. Blues. Also, both nights will feature a massive Mudbugs Mardi Gras parade on the ice.

Saturday night's game, which is expected to be a sell-out, will also feature the weekend's honorary Grand Marshal, former Calvary Cavalier and current Cleveland Browns cornerback, Greedy Williams!

Greedy will become the team's second honorary Grand Marshal, following in the footsteps of the greatest goalie in Louisiana history aka Tre'Davious White of the Buffalo Bills.
