I watched Justin Bloxom grow from a little cotton haired boy into a lanky young man.  I also watched as his mother, Amy, my friend and co-worker for many years, uncontrollably sob as your young man was laid to rest.  I decided that day that I would do anything in my power to never see another young life ended by the malice of others.  I'm not alone.

The group, Justice For Justin Bloxom, has been incredibly active educating others in our area, and has even helped state wide to initiate legislation to protect the lives of our precious children.  This Friday, March 30 is the two year anniversary of Justin's death and to celebrate his life, the public is invited for the dedication of the Justin M. Bloxom Memorial Garden at 10am at North DeSoto Middle School.  Hope you can join us!

12-year-old Justin Bloxom was murdered March 30, 2010 after being lured away from a friend’s home by text messages he thought were from a girl.  But those messages were actually from  convicted sexual predator Brian Horn who was posing as a girl.

Horn is awaiting trial for first-degree murder.  Donations helped to create the garden that will serve as an outdoor classroom and a place of reflection. Scott Crane designed the site, and Tina Pickett, owner of The Gardens of Louisiana, headed up the project.
