If you have tuna in your pantry you may want to throw some away or return it to the store. Cans of Bumble Bee and Chicken of the Sea tuna have been recalled because of a loose seal on the can that could cause spoilage or contamination by bacteria or other organisms, according to two alerts issued by the US Food and Drug Administration.

Bumble Bee Foods recalled 5-ounce cans of its white albacore packed in water and chunk light tuna in water and vegetable oil. The “best-by” dates were January 16-18, 2016. Check here for the full list.

Makers of Chicken of the Sea, have recalled certain lots of its 5-ounce chunk white albacore tuna in water. It’s sold at retail stores in single cans with the dates between February 4, 2013, and February 27, 2013. Click here for the list of UPC codes.

Consumers who have affected products can return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
