Bugs, Bats, & Bones Returns to the SBC

‎Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park‎ is preparing for the return of Bugs, Bats, & Bones on Saturday, October 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you are a lover of insects this event is for you. You can dine at Cafe Insecta and eat some odd but delicious meals packed with protein (insects). If you aren't into eating bugs that's okay, because there are many other things to do at Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park in Blanchard.

There will be exhibits with Snakes, Spiders, Bats, and all the spooky animals that will make you feel like you're on a Halloween tour. You and the kiddos can partake in the arts and crafts area so you can always remember your epic Bugs, Bats, & Bones Adventure.

There will also be Guided Night Hikes without flashlights so you can use your senses in the woods and there is a Nocturnal Insect Hunt that will end the day.

Some delicious foods (besides the insects will be there). Uneeda Taco, The Hot Dawg Hut, and Candy Galore and More will be stationed next to the pavilion. Don't forget about the insects at Cafe Insecta.
