We won't lie. Samantha's story is super sad, but you could help her get the happy ending she deserves by sharing her story or even adopting her yourself at Pet Savers Shreveport.

Make an appointment to meet Samantha at Pet Savers Shreveport. She's up to date on her shots and is already spayed. Her adoption fee is $125.

Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Samantha:

I am a 7-year-old beagle who was found in the house after my owner passed. I was adopted earlier this year, but it just didn't work out. I am about 30 pounds and house-trained, and those that knew me said I got along with cats. My only negative traits are that I bark a good bit, since I am a beagle, and I have been known to bite. I would do best in a home without small children. It's a little confusing being back at Pet Savers. Maybe I can find a new home soon?
