Bad news for Bossier City's Chick-Fil-A lovers.
If your like me, no week is complete without a stop at Bossier City's Chick-Fil-A. Sadly, at least for the foreseeable future, us Bossier residents will have to drive to Shreveport to get our Chick-Fil-A fix.
This evening, August 10th, Chick-Fil-A in Bossier announced they'll be closed until further notice. While several local fast-food restaurants, such as Wendy's and Sonic in Shreveport, have announce temporary closings, this closing seems to have nothing to do with staffing issues.
Of course, staffing issues have led to many Shreveport-Bossier restaurants limited hours or closing altogether. This week, Wendy's and Sonic in Shreveport both put up signs announcing they'll be closed until their staff comes to work. Both were closed for a very short amount of time.
Chick-Fil-A in Bossier is closed for a completely different reason. Apparently, they are having major issues with their network. I've heard complaints from several Bossierites claiming the wait at Chick-Fil-A has been extraordinary long this week. That's one thing I've loved about about Chick-Fil-A in Bossier through the years, that no matter how long the line seemed, the wait was never long enough to stop you from waiting to get that delicious chicken goodness.
Sadly, the Chick-Fil-A located on Beene Boulevard in Bossier announced they'll be closed for the foreseeable future due to network issues. One would think that network issues would be an fixable issue in a timely manner, but then again, there's no telling when they'll be able to get things straightened out.
Check out their announcement below.
