BOSSIER PARISH, LA- Bossier Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrest Bossier City man for Possession of Child Pornography
Robert Wayne Kovacs, 58, of the 500 block of Columbia Circle in Bossier City was arrested by Bossier Sheriff’s Office Detectives on June 5th, 2023, for 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.BSO Detectives began investigating after receiving a cyber-tip regarding Kovacs’ activities. Kovacs was booked into the Bossier Max with a bond of $40,000After further investigation by the Bossier Sheriff’s Office Forensics Support Unit, Robert Kovacs was further charged with an additional 50 counts of Possession of Child Pornography involving prepubescent children and 1 count of Obstruction of Justice.
Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office continue to aggressively investigate child sexual abuse cases with the ICAC team, the Attorney General’s Office, and with the aid of the latest technology. Bond for these new charges totals $535,000.
