Heavily Traveled Bossier I-20 Ramp Closed Saturday
One of the most frequently used exit ramps along I-20 in Bossier City is set to be closed tomorrow, Saturday, July 26.

The good news, unless something is discovered about its safety, is that the exit ramp is only set to be closed for this one day.
In a notice from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, we learn that, in their efforts to inspect the bridges/ramps in Northwest Louisiana, it's time to take a look at the I-20 eastbound to LA 3 (Benton Road) northbound exit ramp in Bossier City.
Barring inclement weather that could delay, extend or alter in other ways, the scheduled work day/hours, the ramp is set to be closed from approximately 7:00 am to 3:00 pm while crews conduct the bridge inspection.
DOTD notes that this is a total ramp closure at this location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route. Eastbound vehicles will need to exit via Old Minden Road or Industrial Drive.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
