It was the day America swore that we would "Never Forget" and Bossier City is doing its part to keep that promise.

September 11, 2001, Americans all over were glued to the television as we unbelievably watched those planes crash into the twin World Trade Center Towers.

It was gut-wrenching; horrifying; devastating; sobering; and yet, it served as inspiration.

In the eerie, quiet, hours following the disaster, Americans were solidified in a number of resolutions.

We would find those responsible and give them a dose of "Shock and Awe!" We would rebuild! And, we would Never Forget!

Because of those resolutions, the City of Bossier City and Keep Bossier Beautiful are holding a special 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony, on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 9:00 am at Liberty Garden, at the Bossier City Municipal Complex, 620 Benton Rd. in Bossier City.
