Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are "ready to wed" per the cover of People magazine, and the pop singer's kids fully approve of the country star.

Unnamed sources say Shelton has shown Kingston, Zuma and Apollo (age 13, 11 and 5 respectively) a more "adventurous" side of life, but has remained respectful of her ex-husband's role. Stefani and Gavin Rossdale divorced in 2015. Soon after, she started dating Shelton, who had just divorced Miranda Lambert.

“The boys have really grown immensely by spending time with Blake," one source tells People after commenting on how he's shown her and them a little more adventure. Their antics may have come at his farm in Oklahoma. They're often in his hometown of Tishomingo on weekends and holidays, and frequently do holidays with extended family. Shelton soaks up being a bonus dad, the magazine reports.

Why Blake + Gwen Can't Get Married:

Neither Shelton — whose God's Country: Fully Loaded album drops on Friday (Dec. 13) — nor Stefani spoke to People for the cover story, but they've told a similar story when they have spoken in public. In September, she told the Today show that Shelton was a great dad.

"He’s been helping me out a lot," she said. "I literally get to the point where I’m like, 'You gotta get home, I need help.'"

Shelton speaks as if marriage is inevitable, and in their new duet, he sings like a man who's ready to get hitched. "Nobody But You" is the name of the song. Fans will be able to hear it for the first time on Friday. It's their third duet together after "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" and "You Make It Feel Like Christmas."
