Louisiana Says This Is The Least Expensive Grocery Store In State
One of the biggest conversations over the past couple of years has been the price of groceries, and while food prices have increased at all locations, some stores are still deemed "less expensive" than others.

In an article from bestlifeonline.com, we learned of a recent study commissioned by NetCredit, which compared grocery prices at over 2,000 supermarkets across the country to determine which were actually the least expensive for each city and state.
When the dust had settled from the study, researchers determined that the overall "winner" wasn't a warehouse giant or discount store. The most affordable grocery store in 15 states was Target.
Walmart finished second and was determined to be the most affordable in eight states including New York, Pennsylvania and California.
Grocery Outlet finished as third and was tops in six states. Other top finishers included Hy-Vee, Food Lion, Price Rite, Price Chopper and Save A Lot.
However, there were obvious anomalies that were specific to individual states like Smart & Final which was Number One in Arizona and Tops Markets, the Number One grocery in Vermont.
Texas most affordable grocery, Fiesta Mart, was also one specific to the Lone Star State.
And here in Louisiana, the sole state where it was determined to be the least expensive, NetCredit's findings show the winner to be Super One Foods.
