Benton Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A Benton man is behind bars after being accused of indecent behavior with a young girl. Jared Fowler, 35, was arrested Monday on child pornography charges.

According to the Bossier Sheriff's Office, Fowler allegedly was involved in a online relationship with a teenage girl in Caddo Parish. Sheriff's deputies say that Fowler was trading nude photos with the teen and allegedly had photos of the young girl saved on his phone.

Fowler is also being charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. Deputies say an investigation into Fowler and his alleged activity is on going.
