Next week will be the biggest week of the year in the pro wrestling world. It's Wrestlemania week, which means more people will be paying attention to WWE than any other week of the year.

This year's Wrestlemania is taking place in the New York City area, so it's cross country from the fans here in the Shreveport and Bossier area. But fans here will still be paying attention, and sharing in the excitement.

But that local excitement might take a small hit after a recent report.

Pro Wrestling Sheet have gotten their hands on some recent court filings made by WWE. These are normal filings the company makes in an effort to stop people from selling unlicensed merchandise outside of events. These filings from WWE have become pretty common, and they're usually pretty accurate. Which is bad news for us.

Looking over the dates, there are a few Texas stops, some Mississippi stops, and Louisiana stops. For fans in Shreveport and Bossier, the closest of those stops may actually be in Texarkana. That show is listed for Friday July, 26th at the Four States Entertainment Center in Texarkana.

The other show listed close to Shreveport is the Sunday June 30th show in Monroe.

Other Louisiana dates include August 26th at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, and the Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge on August 27th.

There are plenty of shows in Texas over the next year, including stops in Dallas, Houston, Austin, El Paso, San Antonio, Ft. Worth, among others.
