Oklahoma Man Gives Stepfather Atomic Wedgie and It Kills Him

The first thing we need to recognize about this story is that a man is dead. Obviously, it's no laughing matter when there's loss of life. But of all the ways to die, this has got to be the worst.  

Most of us, given the choice, would much prefer to go out as a hero: Saving the life of a child or defending our family or country. This poor soul's last breath was apparently taken while his underwear was pulled over his head.

Probably never what he would have imagined would be his "departing look." He was the victim of an "Atomic Wedgie."

The atomic wedgie takes the common "wedgie" to the extreme. It's where the the wedgie is so powerful, the waistband of the underwear actually makes it the whole way over the victim's head. And that's exactly what claimed the life of this victim.

Back on December 21, 58-year-old Denver St. Clair of McLoud, Oklahoma received what might be the most devastating wedgie of all time.

According to NewsOK, just days before Christmas, St. Clair's 33-year-old stepson Brad Davis showed up at his house.  Brad's a former Marine, and they started fighting about Brad's mom, who'd previously accused St. Clair of domestic abuse.

During the fight, Brad grabbed St. Clair's underwear, yanked them up over his head in an atomic wedgie and from all accounts, it killed him.

According to the coroner, St. Clair died of asphyxiation from being strangled by the waistband. According to the local sheriff, the underwear was still over St. Clair's head when police got to the scene.

Davis claims St. Clair was the attacker, and the wedgie was self-defense.  Nonetheless, Davis was arrested Tuesday, and it's been ruled a homicide.
