Frank Foster was born and raised in right here in the Ark-La-Tex. Specifically, Northwest Louisiana's Cypress Bottom, which is halfway between Haynesville and Summerfield.

At one time, Frank Foster worked on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. According to Frank, that's what he and other country boys call a good job.

Frank Foster's dad turned him on to the music of Hank Williams when he was 3 or 4 years old. Radio has been Frank's friend since then.

Frank Foster's biggest musical influences are: Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Earle, Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Brothers Band and The Black Crowes.

Frank Foster wrote his first song when he was a Junior in college. He said people liked it and it gave him enough confidence to make music his life.
