Agent Ratliff Sued: Baton Rouge Business Files Federal Lawsuit

YouTube’s favorite fake government employee, known as "Agent Ratliff from OCDA," is facing a major problem right here in Louisiana. The most unserious, serious "agent" is being sued by a Baton Rouge business over a prank video, and the lawsuit is not holding back.

The "OCDA" Schtick

For those unfamiliar, YouTuber Carliemar White (aka Agent Ratliff) travels the country to film hilarious sketches. His large following often "nominates" businesses by sending in fake complaints. Ratliff, posing as an "employee" of the fake Osha Cares Diversity Affairs (OCDA), then shows up to "investigate."

He reads the absurd complaints verbatim, and the resulting chaos and confusion are usually hilarious to his subscribers.

The Baton Rouge Legal Battle

According to WBRZ.com, White’s antics hit a serious wall when he visited Holmes Building Materials, Inc. in Baton Rouge. Both the company and supervisor Derek Jones have filed suit.

The complaint alleges that on August 1st, 2025, White arrived at their business and, despite running the OCDA schtick in his videos, told employees he was affiliated with the real OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

The lawsuit notes this isn't the first time he's been in trouble; the U.S. Department of Labor reportedly raided White's house last year for allegedly impersonating an OSHA agent.

Charges Go Beyond a Prank

The complaint goes far beyond a simple workplace disruption. Jones accuses White of defamation, arguing the video damaged the Baton Rouge business’s reputation. Worse, Jones alleges false imprisonment (claiming White and his crew blocked the doorway and refused to let Jones leave the room) and battery (for allegedly blowing cigarette smoke in Jones' face).

The video, posted on August 12th, is still active and has garnered over 112,000 views. The Louisiana company and Jones are demanding that White immediately remove the video and are even asking a federal judge to force him to take all his skits off the internet. It looks like Agent Ratliff’s online career just ran into a serious Louisiana court case.
