Two Major Wrestling Championships Coming to Brookshire Grocery Arena

Fans of the former Mid-South Wrestling are in for a huge treat tomorrow, Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7 as "rasslin" returns to the area.

Though, it won't be the professional ranks this time around, we could certainly be treated to some future pros, as scores of Louisiana high school wrestlers take to the mat at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City.

It's the LHSAA Wrestling State Tournament and according to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, doors of Brookshire Grocery arena will open for spectators at the main entrance at 8:00 am on Friday, Feb. 6 and at 9:00 am on Saturday, Feb. 7.

And very soon after the dust has settled from this event, wrestling moves back into the spotlight at Brookshire Grocery Arena when the National Collegiate Wrestling Championships take over from March 26 through March 28.
