UPDATE: Woman Killed in Cedar Grove Named

The Caddo Parish Coroner's office has identified the woman killed in the Sunday night shooting as 41-year-old Tasha Mayberry.

A woman is gunned down in Shreveport's Cedar Grove. Witnesses told police they heard a man and woman arguing and then several shots were fired.

Police were called to West 73rd Street at Union Avenue just before 10 last night. They found the woman shot several times. She was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport where she later died.

This is the 3rd murder from this past weekend, bringing the total for 2020 to 6 in Shreveport.
