Red River Revel: Going on through Saturday in downtown Shreveport’s Festival Plaza. Along with all the arts and crafts, great food and other entertainment, there’s going to be a lot for us country music fans to appreciate. (more)

Zwolle Tamale Fiesta: The festival begins Thursday, October 10 and will run through Saturday, the 12th in Zwolle. The Zwolle Tamale Fiesta celebrates the rich Spanish and Indian heritage of the people of the town. (more)

Boo Benefit Motorcycle Rally: Held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 11, 12 and 13 in Jefferson, Texas. This annual fundraiser is for burn victims and their families and the Percy R. Johnson Burn Foundation. (more)
