VIDEO: Boy Steals School Bus in Baton Rouge

Quite an exciting afternoon in Baton Rouge where an 11-year-old boy is accused of stealing a school bus and leading police on a wild chase. Several people caught part of this chase on video.

The young boy was finally stopped after he crashed the bus. The boy was not hurt when the bus hit a tree on Greenwell Springs Road Sunday morning.

Sgt. L'Jean McKneely Jr. says the child took the bus from the parking lot of the Progress Head Start Center. During the chase, the bus hit at least three other vehicles before crashing.

The child faces a series of charges including theft of a vehicle, aggravated flight, three counts of damage to property and one count of aggravated assault, a count that had to do with one of the vehicles the juvenile struck.
