Sunday Night Double Murder in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA - More violence in Shreveport over the weekend. Two people were shot to death Sunday night. Police were called at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday night to Delaware Street near Thornhill and Fairfield avenues and found a man and a woman dead.

The shooting apparently happened outside of a home at that location.

At least 8 police units and several EMS crews responded to the scene Sunday evening to this reported shooting.

This brings the homicide number to 47 in Shreveport so far this year. Police investigators are urging anyone with information or video footage of what happened Sunday night to get in touch with the police department.
