More and more countries are showing interest in space with satellites and expansion so it was only a matter of time before a base like this was founded. The National Space Defense Center at Schriever Air Force Base is the United States newest defense against anyone trying to attack us from above. The base operations are very much top secret but officials say their main objective is to protect American satellites from our enemies.

In the past decades our satellites have given our ground troops a leg up in every conflict we've been in and we are looking to keep that advantage. China, Russia and North Korea are among the countries said to be developing anti-satellite missiles. The future of mankind is not just on earth but in outer space and the United States with programs like this are looking to keep a stronghold wherever we go.

No word yet if aliens are on their radar...
