November of 2022 will be a month that Daniel and Shelby Vosbury will never be able to forget.  It was then that they lost their sweet little four-month old Ryder.

The worst nightmare of any loving parent was now a reality for this DeSoto parish couple.

But these two have taken their grief and used it to give other grieving Arklatex parents a glimmer of positive hope.

With their creation of Ryder's Roses, the Vosburys use their memory of Ryder to provide a rose flower bed for other parents who have endured a similar loss.

And as the couple continues to raise funds for Ryder's Roses, they're preparing for the 2nd Annual "Reelin' For Ryder Bass Tournament" out of the Toledo Bend-North State Park Ramp.

This 2-man team tournament will be held Saturday, March 15 and the $125 per boat entry fee will include your launch fee, a 3-piece fish plate, and two entries into the door prize raffle.  There's also an optional $10 Big Bass Pot.

How about this for an added attraction! New this year, any contestant who catches a bass weighing Ryder's exact birth weight of 7 pounds and 14 ounces will receive a cash bonus prize of $500.

They will pay out one place for every five entries and there are some fantastic door prizes to be given away.
