Three Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges in Shreveport

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force have charged three men with multiple firearms and drug-related charges. On February 22, 2021, Agents executed a search warrant at a Fern Avenue apartment complex in Shreveport .  The search of the apartment yielded approximately 221 grams of marijuana, six illegal firearms, and more than $46,000 in cash. Agents charged the following adult males:

• Jaylen Cox (8/18/98) is charged with one count of Possession of Schedule I with Intent to Distribute, one count of Possession of Schedule II, and one count of Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance

• Miguel Gomez (5/11/2001) is charged with one count of Possession of Schedule I, and one count of Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance

• Uzziel Valdez ( 5/5/98)   is charged with one count of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon.

Cox, Gomez, and Valdez were all booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
