This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Goes to Megan Golden

Heather Allen says that she "doesn't know another person more worthy of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award" than Megan Golden. And, when our selection committee sat down with the nomination letter that Heather had submitted, they unanimously agreed that there was certainly no one more worthy of this award this week.

Megan completely embodies what the Caught in the Act Award was designed for. Giving, involved, and willing to make a difference in the lives of others! Just look at the letter we got from Heather and you'll understand how Megan was a shoe-in for this week's award!

Megan is my best friend. Her and I are both teachers and met when I started teaching at the same school as her. Megan has a true passion for teaching and she would do anything for her students no matter the cost to herself. Recently Megan added me to a group called “Support a teacher- Texas” this group was made for anyone to Support Texas teachers by gifting them items for their classroom. The intention of joining for Megan was never to receive any gifts but to be able to help as many fellow teachers as she possibly could. She not only gifted though, she took it a step further and called state legislators and local News outlets to let them know about the support a teacher movement that was taking place. She wanted to do more and make a bigger difference in these teachers lives. She is a humble and generous person who truly has a big heart. Please pick Megan for your caught in the act recipient, I do not know another person more worthy.
