Regardless of the current state of affairs, it's time to celebrate St. Patty's day.  Today we celebrate the fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland who is credited with bringing Christianity to the emerald isles.  The holiday may have started as religious, but has now evolved into a celebration of everything Irish.

I have a few long-standing traditions I like to engage in on this day of celebration.  Watching the Quiet Man, having a dram or two of Irish whiskey, and a viewing of the classic 2006 WPMI newscast covering eyewitness accounts of a leprechaun sighting in Mobile, Alabama.
