The Newest Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award Is Crystal Fowler

So, we did it again. Woke up one of the area's finest people from a dead sleep. In fact, I'm sure Crystal Fowler had no idea what was going on, but she still took the call, just like any person of her character would do.

We're sure she only took the call because she thought someone might need assistance or was in a bind in some way. See, that's the kind of person Crystal is. Nothing is ever too much to ask of her. She even told us that giving "was her calling." Don't you wish you were made of the same stuff? Ready to go and help someone at the drop of a hat.

Yep, that's Crystal! Course we would have never known about her if it weren't for her cousin, Michael Vaughn. Once we read the nomination letter he sent us, there was no way that Crystal wouldn't receive this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Crystal is one of nicest and most kind hearted individuals I know! She will go above and beyond expectations to help a family member, friend, or someone she doesn’t even know! Recently she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now she is cancer free but, through it all she never got down and beat it like a champ! Now she takes calls from people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and talks to them about her experience with cancer and helps to ease their fears about having breast cancer. She also works as a RN for a home health care company and goes to see many patients! I’ve seen her go after work hours back to a patients house and carry food that she went and bought to them so they would have something to eat! And just recently o n Thanksgiving I know she left her family’s Thanksgiving dinner with a couple of extra plates of food and carried them to a patient because they didn’t have any family and didn’t have any food to eat for Thanksgiving! This is why I think Crystal should be this weeks caught in the act winner because she has a heart of gold and loves doing what she does!

 

Crystal Fowler, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
