Six persons have been wounded after gunfire erupted late Saturday (1/11/25) at a large gathering

Complaints of excessive noise coming from the site of a large party in an unincorporated area of the parish this past weekend escalated to a confrontation which eventually led to the arrest of a Weldon Johnson Rd.

Webster Parish Sheriff's Deputy Trey Copeland has tragically passed away while on duty.
