Texas Rangers

Well, looks like we will have to wait another day to find out if the Texas Rangers will bring home their first World Series Championship to Arlington.  Game 6 of the World Series has been cancelled due to nasty weather surrounding the St. Louis area.

Sports rivalry isn't anything new.  Consider the Cowboys and Redskins. New Orleans and Atlanta.  The Lakers and.....anyone else in the NBA.

Hi, I'm Gary.....and I'm an addict.  And not just addicted to one thing...I've got a couple of addictions. Well, only a couple worth writing about.  I'm also addicted to chocolate pie and corn fritters, but that's about all that needs to be said about those.

Well, its official!  The St. Louis Cardinals just beat the Milwaukee Brewers 12-6 to win the National League pennant and secure another trip to the World Series.  Our Texas Rangers, American League Champions, secured their 2nd consecutive trip to the World Series last night.

The Texas Rangers yesterday sent out a Press Release announcing plans for the creation of a statue that will honor Shannon Stone, the Brownwood, Texas firefighter who passed away from injuries suffered in the tragic accident on July 7 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Man, it's been a great year for me.  I'm a baseball fan!  HUGE BASEBALL FAN!  LSU Tigers (that one's been tough this year, but we're starting to warm up now) and I love my Texas Rangers!  (Get well Josh Hamilton) But as a baseball lovin' Dad, I couldn't be prouder of our Haughton Bucs and my own son, Buddy!
