A Louisiana Sheriff's deputy was arrested on Wednesday, October 2, on first-degree rape charges, according to authorities.

The Grand Jury of Caddo Parish handed up four true bills in its returns Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Police were called by a concerned friend of the victim who stated that a male was holding the victim in a hotel room and refusing to let her leave.

The responding officers were contacted by a concerned parent who that stated her 17-year-old son had just been sexually assaulted by two older male suspects.

Havis is suspected of sexually assaulting a Juvenile.

On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, The Caddo Grand Jury returned four indictments.

Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man for rape and he now sits in the Bossier Maximum-Security Facility.

The Caddo Parish Grand Jury of Caddo Parish returned seven indictments on Thursday (9/30/21).

The system makes its first public response since being named in several lawsuits against a former teacher.

Lawsuit says that a nine year old girl suffered "despicable acts" during the school day.
