Today, I-220 east and westbound traffic will likely slow even more as the DOTD will conduct work on the median from I-20 all the way to the Red River

It's all the 'rage' on I-220 in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA-- Roadside Trash Bingo!

Since the I-20 reconstruction project began months ago, driving through Bossier City has become quite an obstacle.

I know that's got to be as much a shock to you as it is to me, but truth be told, we could stand to learn a few things from outsiders.

The entire project is anticipated to wrap up by the end of this year, weather permitting.

Late yesterday morning, it was if the Gates of Heaven had re-opened and the angels began to sing!

Things are about to get real for residents of East Bossier and the Haughton area.

Expect delays on I-220 westbound in Shreveport near Jefferson Paige Road through the exit to I-20 for several hours this morning.

According to the DOTD, all westbound I-20 traffic will be detoured to LA 157 to US 80. Detour signage will be in place as necessary.

Though inconvenient for weekend travelers, LaDOTD is doing all they can to make these much needed repairs in off peak times

This weekend, travel in the Bossier area will be "iffy" at best.

It's looking like it's not the weekend to be in a hurry traveling through Bossier City. There's another construction project scheduled to take place.
