Holiday in Dixie is a multifaceted spring festival celebrating its 67th year in the Shreveport area, making it one of the oldest running festivals in Louisiana. The spring festival which begins this Friday, April 10 will run through April 19, and provides a full schedule of merriment and activities with "something for everyone."

The 3rd Annual Holiday In Dixie Doodah 5K and Family Fun Run will be on Tuesday, April 15, starting at Sciport on Clyde Fant Parkway.

The 66th Annual Holiday in Dixie Downtown Shreveport Parade will be held this Saturday, April 12 at 5:30 pm beginning at the Municipal Auditorium and heading east on Milam, north on Market, then west on Texas.

For a full 10 days, downtown Shreveport will celebrate the 66th annual Holiday in Dixie with a carnival, a treasure hunt, great food and music and loads of other activities.
