The Shreveport Police Department continues its efforts to make our community safer by targeting illegal firearms

According to reports, a Black male was observed walking through the parking lot, pulling on car door handles, and taking items from the bed of a white Chevrolet pickup truck.

The incident occurred on May 21 at approximately 9 AM, at the 3900 block of Caliburn Drive.

The call indicated a white male, reportedly armed with a firearm, had been sighted within the establishment.

United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced that Broxstonie Demichael Mitchell, 37, of Shreveport, has pleaded guilty.

This investigation remains active and ongoing.

The Shreveport Police Department proactively works to take illegally possessed firearms off our streets.

Further investigation into the matter revealed that Sinville was prohibited from possessing a firearm.

On August 29th, 2023, around 6:26 p.m. proactive Shreveport Police Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop.

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men wanted on felony gun charges in Miller County, Arkansas.

Responding officers observed the suspect, Billy Thomas (6-16-85), fleeing in a vehicle and found Thomas to be wanted for a Home Invasion
