Some tragic news out of South Louisiana as a police officer and his family were killed in an accident.

59-year-old Joni Hatcher was found inside a home in the 7800 block of Womack Road in Shreveport just after 11:30 am on Sunday, July 7.

This crash claimed the life of 40-year-old Jon Temple, who was not wearing a seat belt.

Around 4am Sunday (2/27/22), Minden Police Department was notified of a single vehicle crash near Taco Bell on Homer Road.

A rough year for crime in Shreveport. Another homicide has brought this year's murder count up to 80.

Wednesday (10/20/21) night at 11:49pm Minden Police received a report of suspicious activity at the Minden Motel on Shreveport Road.

Just as we are starting to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic in Louisiana (please wear your mask, we're not completely out yet), it looks like another statewide health issue is emerging.
