Late yesterday morning, it was if the Gates of Heaven had re-opened and the angels began to sing!

Things are about to get real for residents of East Bossier and the Haughton area.

A United States service man signed on to protect our country, but allegedly, it was our country's youngest who needed protection from him.

According to the DOTD, all westbound I-20 traffic will be detoured to LA 157 to US 80. Detour signage will be in place as necessary.

The DOTD will make the following closures in an effort to aid the construction.

It's almost as if the whistle has blown and break is over. Work resumes this week on the BAFB Interchange and with that comes some road closures this week

Apparently, we're in for a full week of this. Thank you to our friend, Julie Reeves, who sent me the following schedule regarding the gate closure.

You might have noticed that you were able to get onto I-20 East from I-220 East the past couple of nights.

The interchange will be closed between the hours of 7:00 pm to 6:00 am both tonight and tomorrow night

You can relax. I realize that may be hard to do while explosions are going off, but it's all part of the plan
