In case you are on the fence about going to see these multimillion dollar machines rip the sky into pieces, let me entice you.

Federal budget cuts are beginning to be felt in several areas. The air show at Barksdale Air Force Base might be one of the casualties -- or at least the plan to bring the Navy Blue Angels to town could be in jeopardy.

At least nine people are dead and scores more injured after a pilot participating in the Reno Air Race in Reno, Nevada lost control of his vintage plane and crashed into a VIP section full of spectators on Friday afternoon.

The Barksdale "Defenders of Liberty" Air Show is this weekend at Barksdale Air Force Base.  I never miss it...and watching the pilots maneuver aircraft costing more than I'll make in my lifetime through flames, obstacles and other expensive aircraft, one gets the idea that "its easy."  Nothing could be further from the truth!
