The man wanted for the murder of a 2-year-old girl has been arrested. Shreveport Police have taken 19-year-old Ta'Darious Upshaw into custody. He is now charged with Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault With A Firearm.

Upshaw was wanted for a shooting that occurred last night in Shreveport.

Police responded to the shooting just after 5:30pm on November 15th at the Linwood Homes Apartments on Bernstein Avenue in Shreveport. There they found two victims inside a car, which had come under "heavy" gunfire near the entrance of the apartment complex.

The two victims were 22-year-old Roderick Robinson, and 2-year-old Kynsley Robinson. Roderick was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, while Kynsley was shot in the head. Both were transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where Kynsley died a few hours later.

Police believe Upshaw was the man who fired the shots that struck Roderick, and killed Kynsley.
