St. Jude Bound

Most of you know, my future stepdaughter is a patient at St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. She has a cancerous brain tumor and has survived over 7 years of cancer treatments, the most recent, ending early because of side effects.

She, her sister and grandparents are on the road to Memphis this weekend to find out if her tumor is still stable. Hug your babies tight today, healthy or sick, and love every second you have with each other. The most stressful times of our lives is when they are away to find out where the next 3 months are going to take us.

So, please, say a prayer for our Emma, Abby and their Gip and Gap if you can. These days leading up to them coming are the most difficult for all of us emotionally, but both girls get so excited to go to St. Jude's- they love it there.
