KTBS is reporting that just after 1 p.m. this afternoon, several law enforcement agencies mobilized their search and rescue units on the Red River looking for a person that may have fallen or jumped from the I-20 bridge.  Witnesses say that it was a witness said it was a white male wearing a red shirt and baseball cap.

By 2 p.m. SRO units were in the water from the Bossier City Fire Department, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, the Bossier City Police Department, the Shreveport Police Department and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

The Ark-La-Tex Homepage is now reporting that authorities have located a body in the river that could be person they have been searching for.  This incident is under investigation and officials are still looking for clues that might shed some light on who this person is and why this happened.  If you have any information, please contact the authorities right away.  A command center has been set up at the Bossier Sheriff’s Sub-station on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway.
