On their Facebook page, we learn that the Louisiana Oilmen's Bass Invitational Bass Tournament scheduled for April 3 and 4 on Toledo Bend has been cancelled.

In another posting of a letter from the SRA on March 16, 2020, we learn that:

The Sabine River Authority, by recommendation of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to limit the exposure and spread of COVID-19, has restricted the use of facilities for events consisting of 50 or more people through May 11, 2020.

The Toledo Bend Tourist Center is closed to the public and all Park Offices are closed to the public, however, Park offices will remain open and operational through their drive-through windows, telephone or email.  The Sabine River Authority Headquarter Office located at Pendleton Bridge will remain open for business.

The Sabine River Authority will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates accordingly.  For further information call (318) 256-4112 or visit our website at http://www.srala-toledo.com

According to BOSS Tournament Director, Mike Echols, he's been forced to cancel the April 4th tournament on Toledo Bend and he's even had to postpone the first couple of Thursday night, "Cash Splash" tournaments on Cross Lake.  The first of those is this Thursday, March 19.  In addition, the Texas Team Trail event on Toledo Bend this Saturday, March 21 has been cancelled and the Bass Champs event on Lake Fork has been postponed until July 19.

And in another correspondence with John Kelly, we learn that earlier today his organization got a call from San Miguel State Park on Toledo Bend and they've been forced to postpone the Sibley Fire Department Bass Tournament as well.

As it looks right now, the boat ramps are still open, but conducting a bass tournament weigh-in is a horse of a different color.
