A new type of watering hole has officially entered the Shreveport food scene, and I am not in the least bit mad at the idea of coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. Honestly, when I walked in and saw so many familiar faces, I felt like I was the last to know about this spot.

I actually discovered SippHouse by accident. While I was out on Texas Avenue for the 318 Food Fest, my coffee obsession literally pulled me through the door, and I am so glad it did.

You can tell immediately that the crew behind this concept wanted to provide more than just a caffeine fix; they wanted to create an experience.

SippHouse was born from a love of coffee culture and social connection, and they have truly transformed a historic Shreveport space into something special. By day, it’s your cozy corner café; by evening, it turns into an intimate wine retreat. It’s that perfect blend of warmth and sophistication, ideal for quiet mornings, creative afternoons, or slow, conversation-filled evenings.

The vibes are definitely there, but let’s talk about the treats. I’m already eyeing a few menu staples:

Signature Cold Brew: Slow-steeped for 18 hours for the smoothest finish.

Honey Lavender Latte: Floral, creamy, and totally irresistible.

Matcha Glow: Premium ceremonial-grade matcha whisked to perfection.

Wine Flight Fridays: The perfect way to explore curated pours from boutique vineyards.

You can find them at 1844 Texas Ave (Suite A). Trust me, you’ll want to come for a "sipp" and stay for the vibes. Is this about to become my new favorite Shreveport hangout? All signs point to yes!
