His mom told the Dallas Morning News: “When you think of Shreveport (Louisiana), and you mention athletics, the Booty name is the first name that comes to mind”.

He is the son of Abram and Amy Booty, and the next generation of the legendary athletic family. His father played football at LSU...

His uncle John David Booty won two Rose Bowls at USC...

His other uncle, Josh Booty, was a USA Today All American football player, and First Round MLB Draft Pick...

His other uncle, Jake, was an All State quarterback as well. So it's safe to say the Booty family is an athletic dynasty. Which now adds a new generation, as General Booty has committed to Oklahoma to play Division 1 football.

General Booty wasn't as highly recruited as his uncles when he was coming out of Allen High School. But after one year at Tyler Junior College, he caught a lot of attention.

While playing in Tyler, he threw for more than 3,000 yards, 27 touchdowns, and a 61% completion percentage. He played in 12 games for Tyler Junior College, including the Heart of Texas Bowl, where he was named the MVP.

Now he's heading to Oklahoma to play Division 1 football...

Waiting for him could be one of the best NIL deals in football too. His name alone will get him a lot of attention (but let us not forget there's another great Shreveport name in college football now too). Let's hope his play gets him on the field, where he can match the hype his name brings.
