Shreveport Shots Fired Call Leads to Woman Arrested
SHREVEPORT, LA. Arrest Made in Shots Fired Incident
On September 17, 2024, around 9:00 PM, Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1844 Hollywood Ave.
Upon arrival, officers learned that 36-year-old Remona Dukes had fired a gun into the air during a dispute with a family member near Ledbetter Street and Clanton Streets. According to witnesses, Dukes pulled out a black firearm, fired one shot into the air, and quickly walked away toward Hollywood Avenue.
Officers located and seized the weapon, and Dukes was arrested for one count of Illegal Use of a Weapon. Luckily no one was injured in this incident.
