Shreveport Police Seeking Identity of This High-Dollar Scammer

On June 15th, 2023, around 12:30 p.m. an unidentified suspect contacted a victim via telephone. The suspect told the victim they had a warrant, and it would cost $10,500 to clear it. The victim met the suspect in a parking lot on McNeil Street near the Caddo Courthouse. The victim gave the suspect money to supposedly recall the warrant.

During the investigation, officers obtained security footage of the possible suspect. That footage is being released to the public in hopes of identifying the suspect. REMEMBER, A police officer, Deputy, or Federal Agent will never demand payment over the phone or online.
