Shreveport Police Seek Murder Suspect

On March 19, 2023, Shreveport Police officers were called to a shooting in the 1500 block of West 59th Street. As officers arrived it was discovered a male victim was deceased.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit were called to the scene and an investigation ensued. Shreveport Police Violent Crime investigators have obtained a warrant for Tremell Thomas (7-28-69) for one count of 2nd Degree Murder.

Shreveport Police are urging citizens to use extreme caution and contact SPD if Thomas is located. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The victim, in this case, is currently at a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
