Shreveport Officers Make Arrest in Shots Fired Home Invasion

On April 27th, 2023, around 11:40 p.m. Shreveport Police officers responded to a shots fired incident in the 2700 block of Regent Street. The caller told dispatchers that Codrick Landry (4-12-94) was threatening individuals with a gun and had fired shots at a vehicle.

Officers arrived and contacted Landry. They discovered that Landry had reportedly entered the residence without consent by kicking in the door. Landry then threatened the victim with a gun and fired rounds at the victim’s car. The officer’s investigation discovered multiple facts and circumstances that led to the arrest of Lawson.

After responding officers conducted their investigation Lawson was arrested for one count of Home Invasion, one count of Aggravated assault, and one count of Property Damage.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
